Red's place is a fun neighborhood bar and grill with a friendly atmosphere and ample daily activities to keep you entertained.
I came here on a Thursday late afternoon and ordered a 14 inch pepperoni pizza to go. The wait staff was very friendly and informed me that the pizza would take 20 minutes. In the meantime I played pool in the side room. There are two pool tables there available to play on. They just take a few quarters for a game. A very fun way to pass the time! My waitress brought the pizza to the pool room directly and then took our payment.
The pizza was delicious! It had ample cheese, with cheese on top of the pepperonis as well as beneath them. Definitely good if you prefer a cheesier pizza over a saucier one.
Some nights there are live bands here, and there is karaoke one night a week as well. Red's is definitely a fun place if you're in the area. It seems to be the place to go on weekends for people who live nearby. Lots of friendly chatting and mingling and all around good vibes.
Wonderful food, atmosphere is friendly. Can't wait to try again for a dinner special! Everything tastes fantastic! They seem to offer drinks for sale like a conscience store as well as bags of ice. They offer buffalo dip and buck eyes too. I think they offer a few other dips regularly. A couple pool tables - live music on weekends. We enjoyed ourselves
Went here for a Birthday Party. There was a really good sounding band. Lots of customers around. There appeared to be an adequate number of staff. We were shown to our table and waited 45 minutes before our order was taken. Another 20 minutes waiting on our drinks. 2 people at our table went to the bar, thinking we would get faster service, no. The manager brought a bucket of beer to a couple that was at our table and my friend and I still waited for our drinks. The waitress walked by and asked if we were waiting on something..... a yeah our drinks. She thought the manager brought them to us. Very young wait staff a manager out on the dance floor doing line dancing. We decided not to beg for drinks or service. Party of 12 age 40 and up wanting to spend money, decided to leave. Our tab was $32 we paid and left.
I actually have a tail of two cities with this place. My wife and I had diner Saturday night and yet again at Sundays lunch. The first night, not so good. My wife had a patty melt and I had the Philly cheese steak. First, the patty melt had raw onions, not cooked. You my say "that's the way they do it", however we don't call thousand island blue cheese. My "Philly" looked as though they had one piece of steak-um left and three orders were placed. Moreover, veggies were not cooked as well as the visible absence of cheese. The big roll only made it look worst. Sunday we returned and the produced on their nice buffet. The food was good and priced well, hence the two stars for Sunday only. They stay busy, but for the most part it's a product of convince and their Sunday display. There are no open eateries in the area.
Went there for my birthday with my wife, daughter and mother. We arrived around 5:40 and was not crowded at all. Maybe 5 tables were filled so we were seated right away. Long story short at 6:00 we still hadn't seen a waitress no drinks ordered though waitress did clean the table next to us and checked on them several times. A few minutes later still no service so we left.
